Last Post....

Well, I'm home home. In south Florida. And damn, does it suck. okay, it's really nice to see my parents and home again, but it sucks because you can't really compare being in the Colosseum one day and then sitting at home in front of your laptop a few days later.

Or being rewarded with amazing macarrones after running your ass home in 100 F weather and then having to run back on a ridiculously full stomach 30 minutes later. I miss Sevilla more than anything else, especially the fun we had as a group, Mama y Papa, Andre (soft), and the city itself.

My biggest regret is that we didn't go hard enough, enough times. I can count on one hand how many times we did it big, and that's not enough for me. At least Andre and I tried to explore the city a few times, but I feel like we didn't do it justice. Seeing the Betis game would have been nice, too, but my sleep got in the way of that. We were also at a disadvantage as 6 weeks, no 5 weeks is just not enough time to live in that city. I envy the people who got to study abroad for 3-4 months. That's real living. And that's real money, too.

A weird thing was how rich I felt in Sevilla(well not rich, but I didnt worry about money as much) as compared to now back at home. It's like every dollar counts, but for some reason the Euro doesn't.

Not that I'm upset about that. If I had been my normal, frugal self in Europe, I would have had a horrible time.

Another major regret is the lack of souvenirs I bought. For some reason I forgot like everyone. I am actually really sorry about that, guys. The fans would have been a great investment, as Andre said, but I just kept putting it off. Stupid.

Oh well, next time I go, I promise I will get shit for everyone I missed this time. Cuz I'm definitely going back. Fo sho.

And then I'll revive this blog...so don't sleep on me, guys. Actually, you can. It may be a while.

Hasta luego, tios.

:(

Well, this is it. Im about to spend my last night in europa for this trip. Hope you all enjoyed the blog. My bad for not writing more often, but internet access without your own laptop isnt too cheap. I probably ended up paying around 40 dollars in total for internet access this entire summer. Which, if you think about it, isnt too bad, so i dont feel bad since its a necessity. Ive definitely got a list of things to remember to do/bring for the next time i go on a trip like this. Which if anyones interested, bring your laptop, itll be worth it for all the places that offer wifi, pronounced wee-fee in espana. And also book everything in advance, dont wait till the last minute like me and ull save urself a lot of hassle.

Anyway, since this blog isnt a manual for travelling abroad, ill just sign off and say thanks for reading, and i love u guys and cant wait to see most of u when i get home. My flight is from roma at 1135 am and i get to miami intl at about 935 pm after a nice connection in ohare {which makes me wish that i was spending a few days in chi-town} and then a whole lot of sleeep and catching up on the internet shit ive missed. Like kanye songs and shit haha.

Well ciao yall, next time i write will probably be in America. Who knows, maybe i can resurrect the blog the next time i go to europa, when i will definitely visit sevilla and mj, alicia and maybe even tiphanie?

Hasta luego

roma

buongiorno italia, or roma to be more exact.

i met up with 2 brothers last night, cam and blake, from sactown and we ended up seeing almost all the sights in roma today. 730 am and we got our roma pass and headed straight for the colosseum. who else can say they were the first people inside the colosseum for the day and took a shit in it? ok, probably the people who work there, but still, it was really nice. we also got to check out the pantheon, the trevi fountain,( a huge clusterfuck, but still really cool), walked around palatino hill, and capatoline, got ripped off with shitty 4.50 pizza slices and basically stayed really productive, which was nice for a change.

now im in the kitchen of the hostel with cam just making some pasta from our supermarket and taking it easy. i really wanted to upload some pictures of today but this baby laptop sucks and wont upload my pics.

ps italian beer party tonight. its really cheap here, so i bought 3 different kinds to try out. too bad it never gets cold enough. what is with that? maybe im just temperamental but i cant remember at all he last time i had beer that was cold enough in europa.

im finna eat some pasta (with pesto, yes!) and maybe take a nice nap.

ciao bitches,

love

Short one (thats what she said)

Awesome. Cinque terre was awesome.

What a great experience. It will probably be the highlight of the trip.

If i didnt have to rush to catch a bus to a train station and then take a train to La Spezia to catch a train to Roma I would upload a few pictures, but theyll come in time, dont worry.

This hostel, Ostello Tramonti, has been pretty sweet. I met bunches of people, like the Aussies (fiona and georgia), Lozza (lauren) and of course miles, my hiking buddy yesterday/tom cruise.

Seriously, he looks just like him without the dark hair. Good kid. We even hit up the nude beach, with all guys. Just how I like it.

The trip was very exhausting but definitely worth it. Seriously at times the sweat was like my next layer of skin.

A great day, topped off with dinner with Vito and Marie Laurence, whom we met on the trail to Guvano. He was really cool and seemed to like me a lot. He even rolled me an italian cigarette which was incredibly easy to smoke (not like americans).

So now Im about try and get on this bus with my insanely huge luggage and work my way to Roma.

Ill try and update soon again.

Hope everyone is doing well. Miss my Sevilla peeps, esp u andre ;) and MJ and Mario and Mom and Dad and Madi and Tai and all u hoes in gville and Abel and Yebi and Yesni.

And my friends from Sofla, i realized i might have missed someone, so that should cover it.

Ti amo,

Nikhil

Buongiorno, bitches (not directed at women, all my friends)

yo yo yo what up

im in the italy, u know what i mean, its like crazy

actually i havent updated since i left spain, which is crazy too. but france was a trip, man. it is definitely something to do traveling on your own. especially setting up flights, and hostels and metros and trains and other shit...its not easy but im enjoying it more as the days go by

so im in milan, its fucking rainign which reall sucks and my hsotel nice and big but the mosquitoes are out and thats no fun at all

tomorrow and the day after is cinque terre time, which im really looking forward to.

i met josephine today at my hostel and turns out shes on her way to ct too, so well probly try to meet up, even though its supposed to rain there too

wtf

and in rome its scattered thunderstorms, huge bummer but i can make the best of it.

in paris i had to pay 2 euros per shower so i did a lot of italian showers and chinese showers or whatever u want to call it.. its gross, i know, but i saved a total of 6 euros. and now i can shower when i want to, even though clean clothes are very scarce right now.

its definitely been an adventure up till now, and i still have a little less than a week left. i expect to be pretty good at italian, after the crash course from ettore and francesco, two students i met on my flight from paris to milan. it really helped to meet them and speak with them about italy and america and the differences too

francescos gonna be in lmu so i have to tell tiphanie to show him around if shes there.

anyway im gonna shower now and let my other new friend oskari use the internet to look for his hostel in la cardel or something in switzerland.
ps i also met another gator, jaime! she just graduated

i also said go gators to this woman in paris near the notre dame with a gators shirt on.

sweetness

take care homies, and hopefully ill write again soon

ciao

Leaving...

On a jet plane. No, not really, actually. Sevilla is over which is sad, because I feel like I hardly knew her, but I guess thats what 5 weeks feels like. 1 to get used to it, 3 to keep doing the routine thing and then 1 to try and cram all the shit in u didnt do the first 4 weeks.

It sorta sucks, but I am definitely excited about getting out to Paris and seeing Roma, which should sweet.

Let´s see, its been a while since I´ve updated....since Barça I´ve been doing my best to stay busy and go hard every day cuz we only got like 4 left. Saturday we go to Córdoba and then on Sunday morning Papá invited us to the Mormon church with him, so that should be interesting. So far, I´ve gotten back from Barcelona, and saw a corrida de toros, which was very interesting and bloody.

6 bulls are killed by 3 sorta novicetype matadors, which takes about 20 minutes each. Amazingly enough, the nosebleed tix we bought werent actually nosebleeds so we had a great view of all it.

This week andre and I made a conscious decision to walk back each day for lunch since we havent this entire trip aside from like 3-5 times. Its been a great revelation even though we ended up deciding to finally do it at the exact time global warming starts fucking up Sevilla and the temp is like 99 degrees all the time.

literally, leaving the house provides a natural wetness that only underwears are privy to. its absurd how wet i am after a nice 30 minute walk somewhere. but somehow, its all worth it and i just wish we had done it more often.

well u live and u learn. so now, its forward and onward and to infinity and beyond, meaning paris avignon with the AAA and then roma afterwards. Should be a good time and im looking forward to it.

I wish I had taken more advantage of being in España and met more people. I am definitely going to go out the rest of this week and play my hand at the discos.

If tiphanie can, so can I.

Hasta luego, tias y tios.
